Professional Career Programs. Our Army places the highest priority on its people, and is unmatched as an institution in its commitment to the professional development of human resources, military and civilian. Specific programs exist to manage and foster the careers of individuals in the field of operations analysis. TRAC has an active role in managing these programs. For Army civilians, there is Career Program 36 (CP36) Analysis, Modeling and Simulation. For Army officers, there is Functional Area 49, Operations Research/Systems Analysis Program.


Civilian Positions. TRAC has a wide variety of civilian positions in the Civil Service grades of GS-4 through GS-15 and Senior Executive Service (SES). Those career positions for which we are currently seeking applicants are listed at Current Job Openings. In addition, TRAC operates a part-time and summer intern program for students enrolled in college (Student Intern Program), as well as a full-time apprenticeship program for those who have their undergraduate degrees (Department of the Army Intern Program).
